Growing up, a pencil was the tool that allowed my imagination to manifest.

As a child I was amazed at the technical ability showcased by artists like Paul Cadden and Chuck Close, whom merged the gap between a drawing and photograph. These artists inspired me continue and develop my skill with the medium. Winning the Young Artist Award in 2018 was proof that it was possible for my hobby to become something greater, it pushed me to continue producing drawings.

In my current work, I employ both pencils and pens to create contrast rich, monochromatic pieces with a style somewhere in between photorealism and surrealism.
