Residential - 2026 - Turks and Caicos - Stage 3

This project consists of two bespoke villas situated on the rugged Ironshore of Turks and Caicos, designed to navigate the unique topographical and environmental challenges of the coastal limestone landscape. The architectural language focuses on a refined material contrast, utilizing a horizontal louvred cladding system set above a minimalist rendered base. My role was centered on Stage 2 and 3 design development, where I translated the conceptual vision into a high-fidelity 3D model that rigorously tested the technical feasibility of the façade. A primary focus of my work involved the detailed modelling of the wall build-ups to ensure the seamless integration of the timber louvres with the masonry substructure, maintaining clean horizontal datums across the building envelope.

In addition to the external envelope, I was responsible for the internal spatial development, specifically focusing on the bedroom and ensuite suites. Working closely with the client’s vision, I developed the interior design language to create a sense of cohesive luxury, balancing material warmth with the project’s overarching contemporary aesthetic. The internal renders shown above show the result of this process; to support the project’s progression, I produced these visualizations for the planning application by leveraging emerging AI technologies—utilizing Nano Banana within Krea. These AI-enhanced renders allowed me to transform standard outputs into ultra-realistic visualizations, providing the high-fidelity clarity necessary to communicate the scheme’s impact and materiality to local authorities and stakeholders.

Key Contributions

  • Stage 2 & 3 design development, translating conceptual sketches into detailed 3D models.

  • Technical façade modelling, resolving complex wall build-ups for horizontal louvred cladding systems.

  • Interior design development, specifically detailing bedroom and ensuite layouts in alignment with client requirements.

  • Advanced visualization, utilizing AI-driven tools like Krea and Nano Banana to produce ultra-realistic renders for planning and client review.

  • Material coordination, ensuring the transition between rendered surfaces and timber elements remained architecturally precise.
