Chapel - 2019 - Claverton Down, Bath
The brief entailed for the construction of a chapel which expresses our relationship with the natural world. My proposal creates spaces that encourage reflection by utilizing windows to frame views of the surrounding landscape and the sky.
The building is wrapped in a CORE-TEN exoskeleton, blending with the muted colour scheme of the landscape in addition to protecting the structure from the environment, due to its trapezoidal shape it provides solar shading to the south facing façade.
